Send to Other Users
You can send USDC from your Prysm wallet to anyone else who has one, by their Telegram @username. It arrives in their wallet in seconds, and Prysm tells them who sent it.
Fee: 0.5% of the amount (minimum $0.10), paid on top. The minimum transfer is $5.
In your private chat
Section titled “In your private chat”-
Send
/trade, tap Wallet, then Send to a Prysm user. -
Reply to Prysm’s message with their @username.
-
Reply with the amount in dollars, like
5or12.50. -
Check the confirm screen: their name and @username, the amount, the fee and the total. Tap Send.
You can also type it in one go: /send @username 5.
In a group
Section titled “In a group”In a group where trading is on, send /send @username 5 (or
/send 5 @username). You can also reply to someone’s message with
/send 5 to send to them.
- Only you see the confirm. Prysm removes your command when it can, and the confirm with Send and Cancel is visible to you alone.
- When the transfer goes through, Prysm posts one line in the group, like “Sid sent $5.00 USDC to Steve”, using first names. It never shows balances or wallet addresses, and your private confirm goes away.
- If it doesn’t go through, only you are told. No money moves.
Tip someone
Section titled “Tip someone”Reply to someone’s message in a group with /tip 5 to tip them $5. It works
like a send: the confirm (Tip $5.00 or Cancel) is visible to you alone,
with the same fee and limits. When it goes through, Prysm posts “Sid tipped
Steve $5.00 USDC” in the group, and Steve gets a private message about the
tip.
If Steve has no Prysm wallet yet, Prysm posts one line in the group tagging him, saying who wants to tip him and how much, with a Claim button that sets up his wallet.
Good to know
Section titled “Good to know”- Transfers can’t be undone. Check the name on the confirm screen: @usernames can change.
- The person needs a Prysm wallet. If they don’t have one yet, tap Invite and pick your chat with them: Prysm posts an invite card there saying what you want to send them, with a button to set up their wallet. When their wallet is ready (within 14 days), Prysm tells you, with a button that sends the same amount (you confirm it first) and Other amount to change it.
- Prysm never shows you anyone’s wallet address, only their name and @username.
- If a transfer fails, tap Report Issue on the message. Prysm files the
details for the team; follow it under
/support. - If you have set a PIN, Prysm asks for it in your private chat before the transfer goes out.
- Transfers count toward your daily withdrawal limit.
- The recipient gets a message from Prysm with the amount and who sent it.
Choose who can send you USDC
Section titled “Choose who can send you USDC”Send /trade, tap Wallet, then Security, then Open on the Receive transfers row:
- Everyone (the default): any Prysm user can send to you.
- Allowed only: only the people on your list. Your list shows while this is picked: tap Add someone and reply with their @username; tap the bin next to a name to remove it. The list is kept if you pick another option.
- No one: transfers to you are turned off.
Anyone not allowed is only told the transfer can’t go through.
