Trading Terms

These terms apply when you use Prysm’s wallet and trading features. By creating a wallet or placing a trade, you agree to them. They are written to be read, so they are short. If anything is unclear, ask through /support.

Trading tokens is risky. Prices move fast, many tokens lose most or all of their value, and some are scams. Only trade what you can afford to lose. Nothing Prysm shows you (scan cards, safety checks, theses, leaderboards, alerts) is financial advice, and a token passing Prysm’s safety checks doesn’t make it safe.

Keeping your Telegram account safe is your responsibility. That includes a Telegram account takeover. Anyone who controls your Telegram account can trade, withdraw and export your private key; a PIN, if you set one, protects withdrawals. Prysm does not reverse or refund losses caused by someone else using your Telegram account. Turn on Telegram’s two-step verification and, when it is offered, set a PIN. See Security.

Prysm never stores your private key. You own your wallet. Only you can export your key.

  • Your wallets are created by Prysm’s wallet provider, Privy, the first time you use your wallet, and they are owned by you, signed in with your Telegram account.
  • Prysm is an added signer on your wallets with two limited permissions: trading (swaps only) and withdrawals to the address you choose, within a daily limit. Prysm can’t export your key and can’t change who owns the wallet or who may sign for it.
  • You export your key yourself from Wallet → Export, which opens a Prysm page inside Telegram. Privy shows the key to you directly; it never passes through Prysm. Moving your funds with an exported key is up to you; Prysm doesn’t stop or flag it.
  • The sign-in to that page is your Telegram account. If you lose your Telegram account, you lose that sign-in; there is no other recovery method at present.
  • Once exported, anyone holding the key controls the wallet. Prysm can’t undo anything done with an exported key.
  • Trading fee: 1% of each trade, with a $0.25 minimum on trades under $95.
  • Network cost: each trade also pays its own network cost, usually under a cent. It is shown as Network on your receipt.
  • Token-account rent is never charged to you.
  • Minimum buy: $2.

These figures can change. The live Fees page always shows the current ones, and the trade panel shows the fee before you trade.

Group rewards and cashback are a reward Prysm chooses to offer. Prysm may change the rates, pause them or end them at any time, and may withhold them where they are earned through abuse (for example wash trading or self-dealing). See Rewards for Groups.

Don’t use Prysm to break the law, to move money for someone else in a way that hides where it came from, or to get around sanctions. You may not use Prysm if you are in a sanctioned country or on a sanctions list, and Prysm refuses withdrawals to sanctioned addresses. Prysm may refuse, limit or stop service to anyone who breaks these rules.

Trades and cross-chain transfers are routed through Relay, a swap and bridge provider. Prysm doesn’t guarantee that a trade fills, or fills at the price you saw. Quotes can expire, prices can move within your slippage limit, and networks can be slow or fail. If a buy doesn’t go through, the money stays in, or goes back to, your balance. Fees for a trade that did fill are not refunded. Withdrawals can’t be reversed once sent.

Prysm can pause trading, withdrawals or any other feature at any time, for everyone or for one account, for example during an outage, a provider problem or a security concern. When a feature is paused you can still see your wallet. Prysm aims to keep withdrawals working whenever it safely can. Key export goes through the wallet provider and doesn’t depend on Prysm’s trading being on.

Prysm keeps what it needs to run your wallet and keep a record of the money that moves through it. Trade records are kept indefinitely, also after you stop using trading. The Privacy page lists what is stored, how long it is kept, and what Privy, Relay and Telegram each receive.

Prysm is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, Prysm is not liable for trading losses, missed trades, price movements, network failures, problems at the providers it relies on, or losses from someone using your Telegram account or your exported key.

These terms can change. When they change in a way that matters, Prysm tells you in the bot before you next trade. Using trading after a change means you accept the new terms.
