Add Prysm to a group

In a group, Prysm replies to pasted contracts with a scan card and keeps one watchlist the whole group shares. It’s separate from each member’s own DM watchlist.

Add the bot

  1. Open t.me/prysm and open the bot’s profile.

  2. Tap Add to Group (on some apps it’s in the ⋮ menu) and pick your group. You need to be allowed to add members there.

  3. Prysm joins and posts a welcome message.

Admins can pick the card's style, picture and
buttons, switch scan cards off, or turn on the

The Setup list shows how the group is set up right now:

  • Prysm is an admin is ticked when you added Prysm as an admin. It’s optional; see Admin rights for the bot.
  • Scan cards on is ticked when pasted contracts get a scan card. If you add Prysm back to a group where an admin had switched them off, it stays unticked and the steps start with /add instead.

Scan settings is a button. It opens the group’s Scan menu, the same one as /settings → Scan. Only group admins can change it.

Pasting a contract

When someone posts a message that is just a contract address, Prysm replies with a scan card: price, market cap, liquidity, safety checks, links and who called it first. The paste stays in the chat; it is the call. A contract inside a longer sentence gets no reply.

A paste doesn’t add the token to the group’s watchlist. Send /add <contract> to do that. While scan cards are on, a message with several contracts, one per line or separated by commas, adds them all to the group’s watchlist at once.

The group’s watchlist holds up to 10 tokens. For more, contact the bot owner to request a higher limit.

Scan settings

A group admin opens /settings → Scan (or taps the welcome message’s button). From there they can:

  • switch Scan Cards off, so pastes get no reply at all;
  • pick the card’s Style: Classic, Table or Tree;
  • pick the Picture on top: the token’s chart, its banner, or nothing.

With scan cards off, pasted contracts still count as calls, so the leaderboard keeps working.

Who can do what

Anyone in the group can:

  • add and remove tokens on the group’s watchlist (/add, /remove);
  • view it with /list or a chain shortcut like /sol;
  • set alerts that post in the group;
  • run lookups like /i, /og, /trending and /pvp.

Only the person who pasted a contract can delete its scan card. Only the person who set a group alert, or an admin, can cancel it.

Only group admins can run:

In a group, /prysm → Features marks these with a shield.

Admin rights for the bot

Prysm doesn’t need to be an admin. Scan cards, commands, alerts and the leaderboard all work as a regular member.

The one thing admin rights add is tidying up. If you promote Prysm with the Delete messages right, it removes:

  • the /add and /remove command messages once it has replied;
  • a pasted list of several contracts once they’re added;
  • a pasted contract that gets the short token summary instead of a scan card.

A paste that gets a scan card is never removed. Without the right, these messages simply stay in the chat. Prysm doesn’t use any other admin right, so you can leave the rest unticked.

Forum topics

In a group with topics, each topic keeps its own list: a token added in a topic belongs to that topic, and /list in a topic shows that topic’s tokens. /list in General shows every topic’s tokens. See Forum topics.
