X Post & Profile Cards

When someone shares an X post in a group, Prysm answers it with a card of its own. It works with a bare link, and with a post shared from the X app (which pastes the whole post with the link).

  • The post’s picture, when it has one.
  • Who posted it: their picture, name and @handle, a tick when the account is verified, followers, posts and how old the account is, and their bio. An account younger than three months, or with 10 posts or fewer, is flagged: worth a second look when it’s pushing a token.
  • The post, folded: tap it to read it all. The post it replies to or quotes is shown too.
  • A Community Note, when X has one on the post.
  • Its numbers: replies, reposts, likes and views, and how long ago it was posted.
  • The tokens in the post: every contract in it that trades on a DEX, with its chain, ticker and market cap. The CA button copies it; Scan sends its scan card.

Share a profile link (x.com/name) and the card is about the account: its banner, red flags, bio, followers, how many key followers it has (influencers and well-known accounts that follow it) and the biggest few, following, posts, when it joined, the country X says the account is based in (with the app store it connects through when that’s another country’s), location and website, how many tokens it has shared over time and how many of those posts it deleted, its past usernames, when it last posted and how often, the tokens in its recent posts (with Scan), an organisation’s team accounts and the accounts X calls similar.

For 10 days after a post card is shown, Prysm watches for the author deleting that post. If they do, it replies to the card with who deleted it and the start of what it said, so people who saw the card know it is gone. This needs nothing from you.

Group admins: /links (or /settings → Links → X posts & profiles). It’s on in new groups.

A message that is only the link (no words of its own) is replaced by the card: Prysm posts the card and deletes the link message, when it’s allowed to delete messages in the group. A link with your own words around it stays, and the card replies to it.

Share the same post or profile again and you get a fresh card. Two people sharing it at the same moment get one card between them.
