Manual Mode
Manual Mode is the opt-in alternative to Silent Auto-Track. When someone pastes a contract address in the group, Prysm replies with a preview card showing the token’s chain, symbol, market cap, and explorer/chart links — plus an explicit Add to Watchlist button. Nothing enters the group’s watchlist until someone taps that button.
What it does
Section titled “What it does”In Silent Auto-Track (the default), pasted contracts are silently captured into a separate auto-track list with a TTL. In Manual Mode, the bot is loud: every paste becomes a visible message with an add button, and the group’s main watchlist only grows when a member explicitly confirms.
The flow is the same one a user gets in DM when they paste a contract — preview first, add second.
When to use it
Section titled “When to use it”Manual Mode is the right fit for small or low-traffic groups where
you want to discuss every paste before tracking it, and for curated
watchlists where the admin wants explicit control over what lands
on /list. If your group is high-traffic and you don’t want the
bot replying to every contract, stay on Silent Auto-Track.
Switching from Silent Auto-Track
Section titled “Switching from Silent Auto-Track”Two paths flip the group out of Silent Auto-Track. Both require an admin — non-admins get a “Only group admins can configure settings” notice when they try.
-
Welcome message button. When the bot first joins the group, it posts a welcome message with a 🔍 Switch to Manual Mode inline button. Tap it once and the group is in Manual Mode.
-
/settings→ Tracking → Silent Auto-Track. Run/settingsin the group, open 🔍 Tracking, then 🔇 Silent Auto-Track, and tap the ✅ Enabled button to flip it to ❌ Disabled. The group is now in Manual Mode.
After the switch, pastes start producing preview cards instead of being silently captured.
The preview card
Section titled “The preview card”In Manual Mode, after a member pastes a single contract, the bot deletes the paste (if it has permission) and replies with a card like this:
🔹 PEPE Pepe Market Cap: $5.2M 📊 Etherscan 📊 DexScreener Would you like to add this token to this group's watchlist?
The chain emoji and the ”📊” markers are real custom emojis in
Telegram — they render in colour in the client, not as the fallback
glyphs shown above. Etherscan and DexScreener are tappable
links. The chart provider on the second link follows the group’s
/settings preference (DexScreener by default; DexTools, Defined,
or GMGN if set).
If the token is already on the group’s watchlist, the footer changes to “This token is already in this group’s watchlist.” and the buttons swap to 🔔 Set Alert and 🗑️ Remove.
Who can tap “Add to Watchlist”
Section titled “Who can tap “Add to Watchlist””Anyone in the group. Adding a token is not admin-gated — any
member who sees the preview card can confirm it. The only
admin-restricted actions on the group side are configuration
toggles (the welcome-message switch, /settings panels, and the
silent-auto-track flip).
Multiple contracts in one message
Section titled “Multiple contracts in one message”Drop several contracts in one message — newline- or comma-separated — and Prysm skips the preview entirely. It runs the bulk-add flow instead: validates each contract in turn (up to 20 at a time, anything past 20 is skipped, plus anything that would exceed the group’s token cap), then replies with a single summary:
✅ Added: 3 ❌ Failed: 1 Added: • PEPE • WIF • BONK Failed: • 0x1234...: Invalid
There’s no per-contract preview in bulk mode — the trade-off is that you can’t reject individual entries from the batch. If you need that, paste contracts one at a time so each gets its own preview card.
Switching back to Silent Auto-Track
Section titled “Switching back to Silent Auto-Track”Run /settings in the group, open 🔍 Tracking → 🔇 Silent
Auto-Track, and tap ❌ Disabled to flip it back to ✅
Enabled. Pastes stop producing preview cards immediately and
silent capture resumes.
